Anyone got a delivery date for their new Range Rover Sport?

Well Tarks I think they just make it up as they go along.
I was originally told I could get one in August. The other day I rang my dealer and asked if I should be speccing it yet and they said, "Oh the ones that come through at first will be random spec" !!! "WHAT??!!" I said, then he corrected himself, "Well that is for us of course, not customers, I don't think we'll see customer cars until next year."
If you know of any dealers with a shorter wait time let me know on penridge at manx dot net

Try Adrian at Guy Salmon Ascot-Lovely place to visit and said that they had more than their fair share of the allotment.Talked about October/November.I think the better you get on with a dealer the sooner they will get you a car, if you know what I meanI was originally told I could get one in August. I will wait until next year now so got my deposit back yesterday.
Would rather see one in the flesh and give it 6 months to get an idea on reliability.
Plus the bigger diesel comes out next year...I think

First cars are due August. Why would you think you could ring up "the other day" and get one of the first ones? Most dealers will have sold out of their first allocation some time ago. I was originally told I could get one in August.
