Are there any new X-TECH's left or have they all been sold?

Did the 90 & 110 fully meet all criteria to be classed as a 'commercial' vehicle (obviously to be able to reclaim full VAT and write-down etc)

Any insider knowledge of LR building a 2013 X-TECH? smile

Thanks

We have sold all of ours but there is a 65th anniversary def 90 hard top coming out. Very similar to an x-tech. Only 65 are being made and customer delivery should be September

FYI all defenders are now classed as commercial vehicles

Thanks Charles. re all Defenders being 'commercial' - i'm aware road tax and V5 wording is in the 'commercial' bracket (for all Defenders) but didn't think the tax-man considered/approved the SW as a 'commercial'? Interesting if so...

Does that mean that companies can recover VAT on all versions?

Can anybody confirm this with certainty?

Just double check with your accountants but so far all the ones we have sold to vat registered clients have been able to do so, but its a grey area as I can't be 100% sure

I understood that you could recover the VAT on the pick ups and hard tops but not the station wagon with 4 seats - and possibly not the 110 with 7 seats.

If you can now, then that would be great.
