A brand New RR Vogue....sent back to dealer.
Discussion
My brother ordered his new Vogue ages ago, and has been awaiting its arrival for months. It turns up, and all looks good....he loves it. However, he soon notices that the drivers door catches the top of the bonnet. Also, the passenger door catches on the bottom of the wing, and the bonnet is completely out of line. His mate who is posh car dealer suggests it has been in a prang and repaired...albeit badly.
So, RR come and collect it, and they say they'll get back to him. A while later the tracker company phones him to tell him that the car is on the move (no idea why). He calls RR who tell him that the car is on its way to the paint shop.
Would you reject it or put it down to a poor worker somewhere who didn't so things up properly? Anyone else experience similar?
Cheers.

I heard that the first batch of RR had poor panel fit in some areas (such as door fits) and that production was temporarily halted to address the issue. This could just be one of those cars. I was on a pre-summer delivery schedule but received this message that delivery would be october instead. I have subsequently cancelled the order and will continue to drive my RR Westminster.
Similar story here: My parents took delivery of an Evoque Si4 2 months ago and the bonnet was badly mis-aligned to the point you could nearly get your entire hand under the O/S edge whereas the N/S was almost flush with the wing. How it managed to leave the factory like that is worrying.
Its all fixed now but it took 2-3 trips to the dealer.
