Hi all,
I was hoping for some of your knowledge! I have talked my OH into a used discovery 4 and our budget will stretch to a 2010 model. I don't know much about cars so was hoping for some advice - which would you go for?

HSE that looks lovely but with more mileage/less warranty

or GS with less mileage and more warranty left?

This one says it includes bright pack - not sure what that includes?

Thanks in advance!

It's 2013, not 1973. As long as it is serviced properly, that kind of extra mileage isn't really an issue...

HSE with armrests FTW.
100,000 miles in 3 years is going some though.
disco4 forum is recommended

Thanks, interesting to hear two opinions, complete novice and want to make the right choice. Any thoughts on the XS?

We may go to test drive this one tomorrow; out of our price range but just to get a feel for one

They also have an XS...

Will also check out the disco 4 forum, thanks

Just made an appointment for our local one and mentioned the HSE with 99K on the clock and he warned me off straight away - is that just him being a typical salesman and edging us towards spending more or should I be listening to that advice?
He said in a few years time no one will buy it off us with a 100K plus on it. Accurate? I will be doing 5K per year or so.

To me, that sounds like the perfect opportunity to strike a deal... wink
