Im new to the fold, just signed on the dotted line to purchase a 2011 Disco 4 HSE.

Will be collecting her next week from the dealers, it comes with the normal 12 month LR warranty, but is there anything else to look out for upon collection?

Thanks smile

The disco 4 with the SDV6 is a great car - such a shame they don't do it with the 5.0 V8 petrol though for the UK market.

Be realistic with your fuel consumption expectations - 28-30 and not 33-35 as LR claim - and you won't be disappointed.

Disco3 is a great resource.

I just bought an IID Tool for mine which can link via Bluetooth to an iPhone and I can control the car, e.g. extra ground clearance etc.

I've enjoyed mine with only one major fail (the info screen needed replacement), very expensive if out of warranty. The screen itself is a weak point, sometimes you wait forever for the reverse camera but it's a very good and versatile family car. If you have a full size spare then go on the disco forum and source a security plate quickly, why LR don't supply and fit is beyond me as they're very easy to steal.

Thank you all, I seem to recall a space saver coming with the car, glad we went the extra mile to get the 4 and hope she's trouble free.
