Evoque rear pads

Just out of interest, almost all my cars the front brake pads have suffered more than the rears, but Mrs Get has done 26k in her Evoque (SD4) and the rear pads have just been replaced - down to the metal. The fronts are fine. Keep an eye on the rears!

Normal road use or has there been much sand/gravel in that distance??

In the past, I've gone through 3x rears to 1x front but that was only due to being on sand/gravel a lot. (The front wheels kick it up, settles on the rear pads and as soon as you touch the brake, it grinds away!!)

Well little sand, but the roads here are horrendously gritty (as anyone who has driven to Applecross will know), so that may well be a factor, as I'm often having to get rid of stones caught in the calipers.

Absolutely normal (apparently) - I reported this as an issue after about a month into ownership and they said it's normal, and in fact the freelanders show the same characteristic.
Not convinced personally.

I've got the same issue on my seven series , in that case it is the electronics intervening to keep the car neutral when I press on by braking the rear wheel as required. Only cure is to switch off DSC or slow down my driving on the twisties.
