Afternoon,

I have one of these ordered and due for delivery in May 2014 but to be honest I am starting to get fed up waiting. It was due Q1 but was put back to accommodate builds for the Middle East I am told, charming.

Is there still quite a waiting list for this car or have I been put to the back of the queue here? My order has been in since April 2013.

Cheers

John

There have been some delays with the Pano roof and 7 seat versions however, a number of people who ordered their cars in April have started to take delivery. There could be a shortage of V8 Super Charged versions, have you called round other dealers to see what they they to say?

It usually depends on the dealer, the number of orders they had at the time of taking your order and if they have been honest or bumped you down the queue.

Personally, I would shop around for a cancelled order or take a demonstrator or pay a premium for a pre-order if you are wanting one sooner.

For reference, I ordered mine last Feb and took delivery a couple of weeks ago. This was in line to the expectation set by the dealer. Mine is a 3.0 TD BTW

My dealer has build slots for March, think your engine choice may well be the problem. It was hard to get a petrol Evoque in the UK at the start because all those engines were for overseas markets.

I have been told that all the supply issues with the pano roof and wood trim are resolved.........

There were several unsold Sport diesels available a few weeks ago and I was offered a new Supercharged Sport yesterday for March delivery. Prefer the larger Range Rover over the Sport so will probably order one with the proper (petrol) engine for sometime next year.

The demonstrator I drove a while back had already been sold to a customer for January, such is the demand.
