What is this pipe for?

Hi All

Can anyone tell me what the big black plastic box is that this pipe goes into?

The one one with the white arrow, not the red circle.

This is for a Freelander 06 TD4

The one I have has a split in it. I presume LR dealer is the only place to get one. At the moment I'm not sure what I'm asking for.

Need more detail on what's at either end (unless someone has the same car and just knows!)

I assume you're pointing to the one of two pipes the same going into that box? And not the one running to the battery which is just come cable ducting!

I think it's the fuse box, so is probably a waterproof 'gaiter' to cover the wires coming out.
