TD6 to TDV8 worth the upgrade?
Discussion
I've not had my TD6 that long but love it, my only complaint is it could do with slightly more power.
I've been looking and you can pick up an 07 TDV8 with 70k ish miles for about 18k now give or take, my car is worth about 10k.
I'm also looking at moving down to one car only as I get far more enjoyment out of riding a bike for fun and a FFRR does everything so well.
Would you recommend the upgrade or stick with the TD6 for now?.
Also does a 2007 car have Bluetooth and iPod built in? I'm not familiar with that vintage FFRR, the only later one I've driven is a 2010 which is a bit out of my price range.

TDV8 all the way... Fantastic motor.
It comes with BlueTooth but iPod integration doesn't come as standard. There are a number of options but it depends on how integrated you want it with the current system. By default, you can use the Aux input but unfortunately, the fully integrated system isn't available any more (though you might strike lucky and find a car with it already fitted).

I think my TD6 may have been remaped already although I'm not sure, it's not terrible performance wise but could do with a bit more, what really lets it down is the engine is a bit coarse and strained compared to the 4.4 V8 I've had in the past, I think the TDV8 would give the best of both worlds.
