Freelander 2 Intermittent problem

Bizarre problem.

I have a Freelander 2, MY13,

I have had a intermittent problem where if I have my lights on auto, sometimes I feel I do not need them on so I turn them off, the switch moves to the off position but the lights on the dash and headlamps stay on, but then the indicators do not work. If I get out of the car and lock the car its seems to reset itself and all back to normal. This happens randomly and has happened three times in the last two months.

Every time I think I will call out Landrover assist or take it to Landrover the problem goes away.

Anyone had similar problems ?

I've never had that ... The auto lights being on when in the daylight yes and as you say when you stop / start it usual corrects itself.

I would take it into LR or a good independent to get the software checked out. It could be showing an error code.

For those who are interested, took vehicle to Harwoods for further examination.

Was a faulty indicator stalk.
