What do you all search for when looking for tyres for your Land Rovers ? of any model.

Most I guess still use Google as I would when looking for anything, I am just trying to find what most would search for.

Appreciate your help.

Usually by tyre size or a certain brand if I know what I want

Sometimes put 'best tyres for cartype' and see if there are many reviews, but most of the time stick with OEM fitment so just type exact tyre detail in google and see who's got best price locally.

I tend to enter the tyre size, look at the list and then do a bit of research on what's presented.

Depends really.

I only use Google when trying to find tyres I can't find at suppliers I know. So I use make and model plus size.

But being able to select sizes is key to searching for tyres, as many LR owners simply don't run a standard size.

Good filters to weed out tyre types you aren't looking at is helpful too, such as road bias, AT, MT etc. Frankly if someone is considering a set of Simex Extreme Trekker copies, then having BFG AT's or complete road going tyres shown to you is just a pain.

I tend to look on the forums (disco3.co.uk) or review sites for recommendations and then price up online for delivery to a local fitter.
