2014 RR Front suspension noise
Discussion
Yes I have. On any bumpy road, I get what can only be described as a rattle from the front wheels and suspension. Mine is a 2014 SDV8. Interestingly, the SDV8 my dealer lent me when I asked them to investigate did NOT make the same noise. I've done around 3,000 miles now and I'm waiting for the dealer to work out what to do. They've had the car back, have checked it thoroughly and can find nothing wrong. In addition, I also have a wind noise problem from the drivers door at motorway speeds, and the child lock switch does not work, even after it has been replaced.
I have a friend with a '13 SDV8 and I'm going to drive it to compare.
I love the car, but the suspension needs sorting! The dealer demo I drove and my car both have 22" wheels

No problems on mine with noise you describe (although I should caveat that by saying I only got to drive it for a few hundred kms before the suspension failed) however have you experienced the dreaded 'Concrete Road' noise yet?
It seems to be a massive problem in the US with their freeways and I encountered it on one stretch here in Australia on the drive back from the country dealer I brought mine from.
I'm no sound expert but it's basically a loud but low frequency thrumming noise.
Thankfully we've only a couple of 100km's of this kind of concrete motorway here in Aus but I do feel for the US guys who put up with it daily.

Done a fair few miles on mine now and I can say with certainty it's the airbags/suspension. Sometimes the knocking sound occurs before you've even moved off. Sounds exactly like when you've something heavy rolling around in your boot. Usually only happens once or twice per trip though so I suspect it's the suspension getting up to height.
There's also a fair bit of compressed air noise going on at various times while driving but that's much quieter (but not as quiet as our old Discovery 3 HSE)

It's a great shame that it seems to me not enough R & D goes in before they put them into production.
When you start paying big numbers for these cars I would not expect these little problems.
Had a Land Rover sales person into me yesterday for tyres and he said selling the L/Rover range was like fishing in a Goldfish bowl.

You're confusing cost with quality. When you start paying big numbers for these cars I would not expect these little problems.
