Series doors on a Defender.
Discussion
Finally finished off fitting Series/military doors to the Defender.
Only on a Land Rover could a retro-fit be described as an upgrade......
Lighter, less rattles, recessed door handles, slidey windows, fewer grot traps, cheaper to replace if they get dinked.
And removal door tops.
Piccies to follow soon......

Not the best photo but:

Paint still needs some work, but I ended up doing a bit of a contingency fitting as the original driver's door was, literally, falling apart on the inside.
Overall a massive improvement. They close with a far more reassuring thud, don't rattle in transit and are so light it's unreal.
Why did LR ever "upgrade" to the heavy, one-piece, corrosion-prone bits of junk?
