Afternoon all
Im hoping I can pick the collectives brain ref the above .....
At the weekend during a normal short road trip to the local town and with no warning x3 warning lights ( all amber ) sprung up on my dash - hill descent, ABS and TC - I drove the last 2 miles home , switched on and off a few times , then checked the levels - all ok
After consulting the handbook the only advice is to contact, take to, my nearest garage......

I was wondering if I need to check the dics's/pads ? Im thinking its more likely to be a sensor fault ?

Any ideas ?

Would like to eliminate anything simple I can do , or my workmates ( truck repairers, with tools ramps etc ) or due to the electrical nature of the fault would I have to go to a Land Rover dealer for exspensive diagnostic computer fault finding ?

Any help is greatly appreciated ......

Ps Im assuming its ok to use it for short trips to work and back ?

Google "3 amigos".

It's a common fault, normally ABS sensor related.

As turbo said - common problem on the discos. Happened on our 2001 Td5 and was down to ABS sensor.

Easiest thing is to get it on a diag machine - or if you can find someone with a nanocom or similar locally to read the faults.

If you are in the bedfordshire area - I have a nanocom still (even though we sold the car at xmas). Let me know if I can be of any help.

Neil.
