I believe from a legal point of view that a car is no longer considered 'new' once it's past 3 months old.Time to give it back, don't you think?

Have told the dealership that I'm rejecting it as it's not of satisfactory quality.
Was put in a tatty L320 Sport first time it went to the dealer, have been in a basic L494 Sport from a hire company for the past four or five weeks.
I have been in the trade a long time and understand that cars sometimes have difficult to solve problems.
...but unplugging modules and testing for a parasitic amp draw?
I could have re-shelled it by now.
Dealer won't crack-on without go-ahead from Land Rover at each stage of diagnosis for fear of not being paid for warranty labour incurred.
Quite depressing really. I have avoided JLR products over the years, but for some reason, thought they'd got it right with the L405. :-(

It doesn't take six weeks to pull the fuses one-by-one! I'd be furious.
Does it always do it, or only sometimes? I ask as twice I've returned to my Sport to find a flat battery (more than a night though) and it was parked in the same place. I suspect it is a security light or something stopping the car from powering down. You can sometimes get the same problem if you park with a charger or similar plugged into the cigarette lighter, as the car won't power down.

I had an electrical problem with a new Sport a few years back and it kept going into limp mode. After two attempts to rectify the problem, without success, the dealership removed and replaced the whole wiring loom. This solved the issue so it worked out I drove the car for nine months of my 12 month ownership.
A long shot but I had a similar problem some years ago and it turned out to be the electronic handbrake turning itself on and off. It was an intermittent problem that the dealer didn't diagnose, I just happened to notice the handbrake lamp flashing on and off as I walked down the drive one evening.
