Which D4 model?

I'm looking to sink £30-32k into a new (to me) D4, question is which one? My D3 SE has quite a few toys including heated rear seats, Xenon headlights and electric, memory seats and I don't want to lose these.

I'd like one with less than 50k miles and I've heard the 255HP SD 8 speed auto is the one to have which probably means a late 2011/early 2012 XS model is within budget. Alternatively I could go for a slightly older 245HP SD 6 speed HSE.

Question is, should I go for a well specced XS or slghtly older HSE. Are the extra electrical toys on the HSE of more value than the 8 speed box/more power of the newer XS?

I'd go later Xs with as close to your spec reqs as you can get.
I always feel the hse has toys that will get little use, more to go wrong and too much 'beat the neighbours, get an hse' about it.
