Trade in or private sale - Evoque content
Discussion
I've previously nearly always sold privately but recently this has been more pain than pleasure and I'm wondering what the general thoughts are here when it comes to selling an Evoque.
Mine is only a year old so probably quite a lot of money for someone to buy privately but is the additional hassle worth what is likely to be circa £2-3k difference on the amount I'd should expect to get.
All opinions welcomed!

Good time of year to sell. Are you buying another LR, if so they will offer strong money, plus get you a better 'total deal'. If not, no probs, be strong on the ad to deter time wasters. I said on my recent ad, no test drive unless deposit paid with intent to buy.
You will make probably £1500-2000 more this way, but there is the hassle factor.

I traded in my Wife's Evoque at an LR dealer last year.
I was delighted by the trade which was 3k above trade value

Land Rover offer is £36k, car is one year old Dynamic Lux with panoramic roof, 825w stereo upgrade, cameras all round and the usual spec the lux pack provides. It's barolo black with black leather so a popular colour combination.
Do you think I could improve on this?
How much did you pay when you bought it. When I sold my Evoque last September it was 13 months old I sold privately and only lost 3k from what I paid the dealer, needless to say I was delighted. I sold it on Pistonheads in four hours.Do you think I could improve on this?
