RR évoque stop/start not working

Hello All.

Just picked up a Range Rover Évoque 2.2, diesel, manual......

I have drive it a number of times and I have noticed the stop/start function doesn't appear to be working.

The vehicle was main dealer supplied and is still under warranty.

I have read the manual and there is no reason why it shouldn't be working.

Any ideas please?

Have a quick look here as there is a lot of info on reasons why it might not work... worth checking out before going the dealer route.

As said, it doesn't always stop - engine too cold, outside temp too low (and high I think, although if you are in UK, guessing thats not the problem) or as said if the air con is on, so might be this.
But mine sometimes has failed, but it does come up with an error message on the drivers display and the ECO light on the switch on the central console is not lit. After switched off the ignition and restarted, error usually goes away though. Only happened a few times.
