evoque trim rattles - should I accept them?
Discussion
We've had our evoque since Sept from new and have a number of very annoying interior trim rattles, most from around the centre console and one from the rear somewhere. Been back to LR twice but each time they either come back elsewhere or aren't fixed. Should we have to accept them on a 45k car?
Or friends Citroën ds4 is quiet as a mouse in comparison.
How common are rattles on the evoque? If LR can't sort is there anything we can do or just take it as is?

Very good, just thinking my Touareg doesn't squeak or rattle and you post that old classic. This was the last dash rattle I rectified on an Evoque. Well, two to be precise. One was easy to locate, as screw was just spinning around holding two plastic sections together, so wasn't getting tight. The other involved dropping the column to gain access to correctly route a piece of plastic wiring guide. Lovely job!
If you're lucky you'll end up with someone like me who enjoys this type of work. Or, you'll just end up with more rattles

Good luck!
