I'm going to have a look at a RRS in Cairns blue at the weekend. 80,000 miles, FSH, one year's MOT and hopefully in good condition.

I don't do many miles so the fuel economy doesn't worry me.

I've had an L322 previously so I know to look for a weak compressor, leaking airbags, clunks and bushes etc etc.

Anything else to look out for and any worthwhile upgrades?

If you're happy with the potential fuel bill, go for it!!! But don't do LPG...

Personally, I don't do 'bling' or 'upgrades'... I find it all rather naff. The only thing I'd seriously suggest is a set of 19" rims with winter tyres.

I live and work in Manchester city centre. Most of the time, I walk to work so fuel economy isn't an issue hence why I'm going for a petrol model.

Will probably just give it a decent service and see how I get on.

Ive been running a 2008 supercharged HST for 3 years now, no issues avg 19mpg ish. Had a set of tyres and some discs n pads, doing about 15K miles a year

A mate has had his 2006 RRS 4.2SCcar from new and now over 150K miles, hes had the usual bushes, replaced some tatty side steps, otherwise just consumables and regular servicing

Picked her up yesterday.

2007, Cairns blue, ivory interior, 80,000 miles, FSH with invoices, MOT and serviced in June with no advisories.

Just at the bodyshop now having the lower bumpers and wing mirror covers colour coded. The wheels are also going back to silver as are the badges. I've got silver autobiography style front grill and side vents to go on too.

Two hour drive back was uneventful. Adaptive cruise took some getting used to!
