Hello all,I'm the owner of a rather rough but mechanicly solid discovery.I've been offered a much better example. But am I going to pay over the odds for it? It's a 5 door on a p reg. 130k but with full main dealer service history. It's very good on the body with no rot. Only a tiny bit of surface rust on the rear dog legs. All the alloy body work is spot on.everything works, even the key fobs, and it clean inside, drives well to
The question is, is 1500 too much for what is quite a old truck now. Although at least you can fix it!

I think that's fair.

300Tdi's are getting rare now & nice clean ones rarer still.

Remember to lift the boot carpet too &.check for rust. Assume when you say "dog leg" you mean the rear arches which are a weak spot too?

You may also be lucky & find a good Td5 in that price bracket & no doubt that will rise in price like the Tdi's have done due to supply & demand...

Good luck!

£1500 seems good money. What trim level is it?
