Land Rover 300tdi diesel lift pump replacement

Hello all
The lift pump on my 300TDI needs to be replaced as it is leaking. I've found a document on how to replace it and it seems fairly straight forward.
But I am wondering if there are any tips on replacing it? This is the guide that I have found http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=23135
My local LR garage want £170 to replace it, and I don't mind doing it myself. Especially as I'd like to know more about how my Landy works.
