Rattly HiFi Range Rover Vogue 07MY- Diagnostics Start point?
Discussion
Good morning learned colleagues
I have a lovely 2007 MY RRV L322 - its something of a labour of love - and Im gradually fixing some little niggles - the next one being.. HiFi related
So... Harmon Kardon Logic 7 has recently acquired a nasty rattle - which in my experience of home if means a speaker has blow somewhere. I love the sound from the HK so this needs to be fixed. My question relates to diagnosing which speaker. Over 6 weeks Ive struggled to pin it down to mid range or bass - but probably is more on the base side. Is there a way of isolating the fault or just simply get dirty with a scredeirve and start removing door cards? Are HK speakers readily available? Would I be best placed to start with the dash-top speaker?
As you can probably tell Im simply accessing the PH collective wisdom to reduce my fault finding time

Firstly make sure it's not something simple, such as an ice-scraper, rattling around in the door pocket!!
Then, it's a case of finding a track which you can play, to reliably re-produce the rattle every time. Without this, you'll never be able to find or test to see if you've fixed the problem.
Then it's going to be a case of playing the track and listening!!
