Defender foglight

I have a Defender that has a white light / clear lens cover on the rear foglight. Nice when reversing, no good on the MOT.

Am I better getting a red light to put in, or red cover? Where would one buy a red lens cover?

Perhaps a red bulb would do the job? LED or similar, lots on ebay etc.
