Here's a random question for you knowledgeable people! I took the P38 for a wet weather spin, it hasn't been on a run in a while and I forget it had a habbit of doing this but.... If you hit a large puddle at virtually any speed it will be thrown up against the windscreen, meaning you have to be pretty quick with the wipers!

Now I have never known a car that is so good at emptying puddles over itself, is this normal ie a characteristic or is there something not quite right?

BTW its on the original 16 inch wheels and the correct width tyres, so the arch should cover the tread completely.

It's a thing with the Disco 3s as well.

I just turn the wipers on before I hit the puddle to get them ready.

I don't think a specific answer was reached on the disco forum when it's ever been asked.

They all do that sir... hehe

It's an approach angle thing.

Look under the front of an L322 and you'll see a pair of flaps to prevent it.

The rain sensor on my D3 is so quick it's as if it sees the water coming before it hits the screen.

My D1 did it too, must be a general LR feature.

My L200's did it, my Disco 4 does it. It's a 4x4 thing.
