Range Rover L322 TDV8 (3.6) Oil temp sensor (2007)

Folks, I think mine is up the spout, could anyone help with the location of said sensor. I've trawled the net and can't find it.
Probably an easy replacement so therefore would rather not take it to a dealer.

Is it in the side of the sump?

If you've got a part number, bung it into Google and you'll probably find a schematic showing you...

Failing that, I'd be looking in around the filter area.

Hi Dave.
I have indeed and nothing at all. I think what I'll have to do is nip to the dealer, buy the part and have a sneaky look at their schematic..
