Range Rover questions - can anyone help

Am looking at Range Rovers and asking for advice/experience.
Which is the best engine, 3.0 or 4.4?
Was there a difference in the centre visual screen......I ask because was looking at a 2015 car and its parking camera view was different to that on a new one. By this I mean that the later car had a front view whereas the older one only had side to side.
When I drove one they seem to waft along and are very soft, however on a bend they stiffen up. Is there a way of turning the overly soft ride off?
Will seek advice from Dealer but theres no better advice from those that own/know people that own these things.
Am only looking at autobiography models.
