Change colour of wood trim?

Looking at a used FFRR with nice spec BUT it has the wood trim as opposed to Piano Black. I am sure I will like it one day, but it isn't to my current taste.

The dealer has spoken about either wrapping or getting the bits painted. Circa £700-£800 for the latter which he says will result in a much better finish. Anyone had this done before, and is the quality of finish the same?

These guys will be able to help and £450 plus some DIY sounds a better option. No doubt wrapping would be even cheaper if you can find a local guy.
