Discovery Sport: advice please with two minor problems

I have owned a DS since December 2016. It is the first, 2.2 model. I have two minor issues I cannot seem to resolve. Maybe I should go and see a dealer who I am sure could help.

1. The radio: why does it come on automatically a few seconds after I've started the engine? It's a minor issue but I wish it didn't do this. Is there a way to change the setting so the radio is fully controlled by the on/off button, ie me, rather than do its own thing?

2. Putting a postcode into the address system in the satnav: this really annoys me: when I try and put the full postcode into the address box it gets to maybe the 4th or 5th digit/letter and then goes into a predictive mode and shows me a list of maybe 50 or so places with the same post code. Why can't I simply complete the post code in full? Can this be changed?

Any advice will be much appreciated.

I have to say I think the satnav in this reasonably new car is inferior to that in my previous Jaguars all of which were more than six years older!

I read the online handbook before posting. Nothing there about radio settings that resolve my issue.

For the Satnav, make sure you have the latest software AND hardware updates.
Our satnav was completely st when we got ours. It didn't even have town names on it!!!
After some digging on here, found the relevant soft/hard ware codes someone had posted.
Satnav now works as it should.
Still not the best though.....:-(
