re-setting EcoData FFRR

recently took my FFRR for it's second service and, as last year, dealer Reset my data re driving style, historical mpg etc.
this really peed me off particularly as I had specifically insisted that they did not do it pointing out that they did so last year.
I collected it and noticed that they had done it again. Dealer insisted that as there was a "flagged" change at service interval that required the reset there was no option.
Anyone else affected, or who can verify it?

Doesn’t a full software update reset everything even needing phones re-pairing? I’m sure that’s what happened with mine but all I lost was some history on the bar graph and my best was lost. Why are you so upset about losing the data?i find it more useful looking at the incontrol site.
