Discovery 4 Upgrade to SatNav OEM?

Hi,

Does anyone know about upgrading the non satnav head unit in a 2012 disco 4?

Lots of parts available on eBay etc, but not easy to identify what is needed? I’m guessing DVD drive for SatNav disc? Button upgrade (replacing older style telephone keypad), and the screen upgrade.

Does anyone know if the cabling required is sitting in the dash, or is standard on all? And/or can you simply take out the old and install the new, or are modifications required to fit?

Have you got a photo of the screen etc? I think 2012 was a change over year for the Discovery inforainment system?

I don't think either are an easy upgrade though.

Fyi . If it's a crap as the disco 3 sat nav, don't bother. I switch it off and use a Garmin. It's that bad.
