Generally the most reliable L322 ?

As title states really was looking at a TD6 a while back went to see a few that were poor, so increased my budget now 12k can stretch slightly if needed.

I know they are not the pinnacle of reliability but what is generally regarded as the most reliable L322

4.4 TDV8 or a petrol 4.2 or 5.0.

Maybe a bit late but for that budget 4.2L / 4.4L Jaguar V8 petrol would get my vote.
