I have a frequent problem with my P38 Vogue, it keeps warning me that the passenger door is open, when it is clearly and solidly shut, interior lights are also on as if it was open. Where is the sensor that makes this decision for some reason I cannot find it and it's driving me nuts.

Thanks in advance

id guess at the curtisty(sp?) light switch. maybe the wire has come off the back & shorting out or similar? you should find it in the back of the A-pillar in the doorshut

I think the door switch is in the locking mech of the door itself. It may be time to get the screwdrivers out.

On a complete downer, but I have heard of this problem before (thankfully on other people's cars!) and the switch hasn't been to blame. The becm was playing silly burgers....
