EGR bypassed, great MPG improvement, Oh bugger

Yep disconnected the EGR on my 300TDi and was amased as my MPG almost doubled straight away
Instead of the normal 250miles to a tankful i was at 270miles and still 1/4 of the tank left and i was really pleased with my mod
Until i ran out of diesel and discovered the fuel gauge had stuck at the same time
