range rover / disco 3 mpg

i'm feeling the need for a bit of luxury and thinking about a range rover or disco 3.

on the published mpg figs they all look pretty similar (x5's, tauregs, xc 90's etc) but what's the reality, i ask as i drive 70 miles a day!

My chipped disco 3 gets 27mpg on the computer, TDV6 of course not petrol

Just bought a Range Rover, 4.6 V8 petrol with LPG conversion.

Most of my driving is in Town and Rush Hour so getting 8-10 mpg on LPG, should be a bit more when it goes back for the LPG first 1,000 mile fettle. The book rekons on twice that for m/way driving.

In cash terms with the LPG, though, I get the same as the 2ltr Chrysler Neon I traded against it.
