Does anyone know if there is a suspension kit to increase the GVW on a 110 Station Wagon to greater than 3500kg. It is regarging a rowing club who use a 110 to tow their boats, but due to the length of the trailer the tow vehicle must have a GVW in excess of 3500kg. The max available on a 110 SW is 3050kg i believe and 3500kg on 130 and non station wagon 110s. Any help is much appreciated!!

Since when does the length of the trailer affect the GVW of the tow vehicle?
Forget that, just read it, 7m max for 3500kg.

Hi, there are more considerations to increasing the GVW and MAM of the vehicle.
Apart from increasing the spring rates to cope with the extra weight, you must increase the braking effeciency.
To do this you must fit a vacuum brake system to the trailer and the towing vehicle. This I understand will increase your towing rating from 3500Kg to 4500Kg. Legally this is the ONLY way to proceed if you are to keep within the law.
If you need any more info, drop me a line
