hi all,TD4 freelander has started to make a clunk between gear changes. gets more noticable if you rev it harder through the gears before changing. drive it steady and all is ok. any pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated....thanks phil

Hi Phil, sounds like you have a rear diff mounying gone.
There are three in all. Get underneath and see if you can lift the rear diff in its subframe. if you can there`s your answer!
I normally change them all as they seem to wear quickly if you only change one.
Cheers Roy
