the new freelander what is it like

We have a Freelander 2 diesel, I checked the tax bracket after the budget and its due to be £205 next year
as the emisions are very good, 205g iirc.
I've never driven a Freelander 1, but I'm told the new ones are quicker, and I can believe it, it drives very much like a car, and is very quick on pick up. Its a smooth ride with no roll on the corners and feels very stable and solid.
It had to go back with a faulty brake caliper about a month ago we had dvd screens put in for the kids and we had to get a specialist out from Landrover to look at them as they were buzzing in the headphones (new system), but they put an extra suppressor on and its fine now. Although we are still waiting for the roof rails (for some reason they were not manufactured at the same time as the car)
and the Freelander 1 rails won't fit it.
