Range rover it just doesn't make sense????
Discussion
Well, here I am again I've just bought a 53 plate 4.4 hse, after selling my 02 4.4 hse 18months ago after a new front diff, viscous coupling possible nickasil problem and a raft of other "small" problems, and guess what? two days into ownership and the steering column won't move up or down!? and there's a definate rumbling which sounds like a possible wheel bearing? or a flying saucer if you know what mean?
But this time, I have gone into my ownership experience with my eyes wide open infact I would have been shocked if it hadn't gone wrong, but here's the thing, for me there's nothing else that will do, there's just nothing else on the market that feels like a range rover? so even though it really really doesn't make any sense at all me buying this car, there was just no other choice for me, maybe it's an illness?

I know the feeling - just had the steering column replaced in mine (£800) when I spoke to the chap in guy salmon about warranty he said not much ever goes wrong - cue a week later and my PDC isn't working

When my steering failed out of warranty LR replaced it FOC. This was arraned via LR assist (which is a godsent and worth the £170 pa) and the main dealer.
