Hi

Has anyone used this company before? -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

I've emailed them asking if they could supply the kit in black, but got no reply.
I could paint them myself I suppose, but believe a special primer is needed.
Does anyone know of any other companies that make the kit in black?
I've seen the black powder coated chequer plate for sale on ebay but would need around 3 lots and even then would have to paint over the edges that I have cut.

Put more simply, does anyone supply a kit in black? Or any other thoughts/sugestions?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a water/dirt trap to me. OK for proper off-road use on a older car, but not as a styling thing.

Mines a bit shabby down below.
I think the silvers way too blingy for my mine hence wanting to tone it down a little.
Plus it'll hide some of the damage I did on my first off roading day a couple of weeks back.

the LAST Disco I had (and I won't be repeating the ordeal)

came with a chequer plate lower half,
The idea that its drilled/riveted on in the first place was not
such a good plan,
never mind the obvious water trapping qualitities.

if you fancy recreating the camel trophy look
snorkel/pluggers/guards/roofrack & Winch fine,

but its sooooo last week isn't it!

Ah well. Seems i'm being persuaded to just repaint the bottom half.......
Unless someone has any positive comments? Not that the 1st two replies weren't welcome. All feedback appeceiated.

p.s. Don't forget its black i'm looking at not silver. Not that theres anything wrong with silver.... on the right model.

I imagine that in Black any chipping by stones or other means would look just awful, and your eye would always be drawn,

must you have Black?

MADE FROM 2MM ALUMINIUM CHEQUER PLATE
LASER / PRESCISION CUT
PRE-DRILLED AND COUNTERSUNK
MOLDED TO THE CONTOURS OF THE VEHICLE
CUT FROM PRIME ALUMINIUM SO THE PATTERN LINES UP
FOLDED REAR CORNERS TO FOLLOW THE CONTOUR OF THE VEHICLE

Dico, are you sure you want to hand over you hard-earned
to someone not at one, with spell check,
let alone
precision engineering
