??Defender Convertible??
Discussion
Around 2003, I was in Cyprus and I saw a (then current shape) RHD Defender convertible; 4 seater in the "90" wheelbase.
Did LR ever produce a convertible Defender, or was it just a custom jobby? I remember it looked bloody nice in bright red, with black bucket seats!

You've always been able to order a 90 as a full soft top or convert a hardtop/truckcab to one very simply. The first 'posh' cabrio type LR did was a one-off called the Cariba and then a production one called the SV90 IIRC in a turquoise colour around 1993.
If you want to convert a 90 yourself, have a look at:

Or if you want it doing for you:
http://www.neneoverland.co.uk/ and click on 'Extreme Softtop' on the left hand side.
HTH.
