The previous owner said something about converting to LPG, but seeing as there is no tank or anything that would point to an LPG conversion, I dont think it can really account for anything
Sorry didn't mean converted to LPG I meant converted from EFi to carbs. Only fuel pump problems I've had on Rangies have been where they've stopped working entirely Other than suggestions above I've had similar symptoms with coil breaking down when hot and air-flow meter playing up.
