hi am waiting for my new lock for my p 38 is it shit to and will i have to reprograme the system

Reset it through your key with your key code.

I had this problem just last week, the handle went "limp" and if you dont ensure the handle returns, all sorts happen. Not replaced it ,yet ! When removing it the switch does activate the "lock out". As mentioned, you have to do the three left four right etc. How much for the lock ?

the famouse e bay i paid £50 but have since been told i could get a brand new one for £110 which i wish i just brought are well whats done is done. where do find the correct left to right code

It should have a card with the code on it.If not call LR with the chassis number,and they will give it to you.

My "left four times,3right" was in my handbook, hand written as was the radio code ! Of course the radio has gone, see my profile ! Not to say it was a pretty fine set up.
