Running veg oil in a Freelander TD4 (2006)

After reading some reports on running veg oil in freelander TD4. Most owners seem to suggest 40 to 60 ratio would be fine for TD4 common rail engine. Otherwise, an extra fuel tank has to be installed for the 'morning' diesel. Has anyone here tried it before? Does anyone know which injection pump freelander TD4 uses? Is it Bosch's one or Lucas' one? Cheers.
