I've got a 1988 RR Classic and its wheels are looking a bit tatty so it occurred to me to source some later wheels. I'm not sure that P38 wheels will fit - what 16" Wheels will fit?
- preferably I'd like some five spokes.

Any ideas out there?

You can get wheel spacers from the likes of Simmonites et al which will convert your hubs to accept Disco 2 and p38 wheels. At the mo' anything from a defender, disco or classic rangie will fit, although don't go to far back as you'll need to bore out the hub hole.

Get one of the landrover mags from WHSmiths and have a look at all the aftermarket stuff you can get. May be worth looking at the specialist LR forums to see if people are in the same predicament as you and if you can get the best alloys off several people as they relplace theirs so you make a new set. When I changed my 91 Rangies wheels I ended up taking them to the tip as no one wanted then. I guess there where 2 good ones and 3 crap ones.

I've got some 5 spokes on mine that i like a lot. I'll post a pic if someone can tell me how and you could see for yourself. On a 1995/6 Classic.
