I have just p/x'ed my 2003 Porsche Boxster for an 04 Range Rover V8 & can't wait to start using it properly!!

Is there anything I should be looking out for on these cars (the Porker, for instance delivered constant worry about it's RMS, which if it perished left most of your oil on your drive without much notice!!)

Also, can anyone let me know if there are any green lanes around the Newbury area?

Cheers

Hi there,

I live in Newbury and London. There are some great lanes around newbury.

The Ridgeway is great but check which bits are to the public. Also there are loads around the Frilsham and Yattendon area. Easy way to check is to buy an Explorer OS Map and they are all marked on that.

Enjoy the RR.

Go here to find some lanes:

http://www.offroadroutes.net/index.asp

(Don't pay, it's dead easy to work out where the route is on an OS map from the free info they give you!)

Remember:

Always take at least two vehicles.

Always take recovery equipment.

Don't off-road in any vehicle you can't afford to damage.

Have fun! smile
