Discovery servicing.
Discussion
Hello All,
I have just bought an old Discovery (1995/M Reg). Car is starting and running fine and all electrics working , but hasn't had a service for 25k miles (has had full service history for approx 90k miles and cambelt change - but probably nothing since.
Vehicle has done 115k miles.Could anybody recommend a local (I'm based in Maidstone) independent garage that would do a good job for me at a sensible price.??
Also, any advice -- where is best place for a couple of rear tyres (will need in a few months time I guess)and likely cost.
All feedback/thoughts welcome.
Thanks for help.
Cheers
Gix.

Gix,
I'm down in Biddenden and have used Terrain in Hastings for the last 15 years to look after our various Land Rover Fleet; 2 P38's, 1 Classic RR, 4 Discos including 1 oil burner and a V8 90.
They will pick your car up if required and leave you a courtesy car. They do a superb job and have all the latest diagnostic equipment.
Call Mark or Simon on 01424 200262 and they will see you right.

No problem Gix.
I noticed you were also asking about tyres. Terrain do supply and fit tyres. They fitted 4 Grabber AT2's to my Disco 2. They were 255 55 18's and were about £130 each fitted. They are quite an agressive pattern so grippy off road but very quiet on the road. Good for up to 50k as well.
General concensus around the Land Rover community is that AT2's are the tyres to have and you'll probably be able to get them for yours.
