Will you be playing Status Quo in the car?

Yes.

Our Great Dane fits easily in the back of our Range Rover with lots of space left over.

Last weekend, my neighbour & I had the Dane, a large Labrador & a Lurcher in the back of his Dicso 2.

Yes, easily in the Disco. It has more space than the Range Rover.

Yes, but maybe not if you are making use of all 7 seats.

5 seaters are cheap for a reason - they are not as good a car, different suspension being the main difference. But if you are a farmer then maybe thats ok.

I would think that not having the air suspension is a bonus. Go to the disco3 forum for further info, suffice to say I get every penny I paid for mine back, even after driving it for a couple of '000 miles.

The Disco3 is fantastic when it works, I am not knocking it.

I know that they can fail. I just wasnt aware that people therefore favour the 5 seaters to avoid this. The benefits outweigh the risks IMHO.
