Random question for the day....

I have some steel wheels with chunky 235/70R16 Grizzly Claw mud tyres for my old 88" series 3; if I get a L322 does anyone know if these will these fit for off road use? Or are the stud pattern or offsets or clearance requirements completely different?

Nope. Different stud patterns.

You could buy adaptors, but for the same cost, you could get a decent set of second hand modern alloys with tyres too for the Range Rover.

Are the Grizzly Claws the correct speed and load rating for a L322?

No idea, to be honest - that would have been question number 2! It seems they won't fit anyway, so no matter!
