I know all the big lumps have taken a battering in the last year and the last few months especially (price wise) So what are the thoughts here of the value of an 07 Vogue SE with 17k miles from a main dealer, what should i be paying?

ETA:

It is the TDV8

That would be nice, but i can't see them knocking 9 grand off the sticker price.

There is a 36K miler, 07 plate on the trader for £35,990

Granted the TDV8 seems to be the one that everyone wants but there is no market for these at the minute.

Remember that 05 Supercharged RRS are trading at £18,500 in this market...

Bloody hell.

I didn't think the TDV8's had fallen that far. I want the Vogue SE, that link was the Vogue. But even so the price difference between the two can't be too far apart. I can't wait to hear the salesmans voice tomorrow when i tell him i want to bid mid 30's on his car laugh

I spoke to the dealer today and he said that Friday it was reduced to £42k from £45.5k he said it owes them £44k

Makes you wonder for sure. I just can't see them going from 42 to 35 tho. Do you think they would wear that they are main dealer.

I do but it is the older TD6, i want a TDV8 now. Well infact i wanted them when they came out in 06 but £72k was far too much, and boy am i glad i didn't get it then with the depreciation today "ouch"

They are chalk and cheese on how they drive, and i must be honest i don't know why anyone would bother with the supercharged version with this twin turbo V8 Diesel.

Thats a proper test drive then laugh

How did you find it? i am guessing pretty sweet. I love my TD6 so i guess the TDV8 is that much better. I have only driven one on short distances when i had one as a loan car while mine was being serviced, but it really did drive very well indeed. One of the down sides to the Sat Nav in the TD6's is no postcode function, you have to entr the entire address which can be annoying.

it was a sport model, really good but the finish wasn't what you'd expect for that kind of money

the adaptive cruise control was really good except when I tried to overtake and it automatically slammed the brakes on

3 blokes plus kit, kept up with a 540i no problem and still returned 26 mpg
